PostSubject: Harlequin books?   Wed May 22, 2013 10:17 pm

Hello, I wanted to ask if you could help me?

I was looking up a few (almost all) harlequins, hoping I could read some of the original books, digital copy.
I don't have a kindle but I was looking the writers up at iTunes and something stroke me as odd.
I found several books of the writers but never one in English. French, Italian, German, Dutch,...
Harlequin is a canadian company right? And I read an article that said the Harlequin books and Harlequin comics would be distributed in english on amazon.

I just find it really strange I can't find any english book on iTunes. Although the other language books are also distributed by Harlequin. I'm sorry I know it's not a question related to the scandalation group but I just wanted to know if it was like this everywhere and not just in my country or europe.

Thanks

ps. an example is cathy williams

I've never tried to buy a book from iTunes so I'm not familiar with the process, but perhaps it's the fact that you can purchase ebooks directly from their website. Have you tried buying it from there? I know it's probably not as convenient as iTunes, but that's the only reason I could think of.

Their website: http://www.harlequin.com/

i mostly buy my HQ on amazon, but i dont have a kindle as well. you can download their programm for the pc and read it there.

if you google certain authors and titles you can sometimes find them as pdf's from people who uploaded them.
there is a topic about it on this forum as well Smile

Thank you !!!!

I know pdf are easy but I'm not really cut out for intensive reading on a laptop.
But with dropbox I easily had them on my pad.

And indeed the site works fine. It slipped my mind to use the american version, using the uk version instead.
Although I have to say I still prefer the manga version, I'm happy the books don't have such tacky covers as those in my language. It's the reason why I read them in digital copy :3
My mom was in hysterics when I started buying them 2 years age :p
